Arthur Daniel Bean, 89, of Woodville, Texas transition to glory Monday, August 10, 2020.

Arthur Daniel Bean, was born May 22,1931 to the late Phillip “Bid” and Gladys Bean In Woodville, Texas. Mr.Bean attended school and later married Freddie Lois Bean and from their union had (7) children.

Arthur Daniel Bean, started logging at an early age and worked in the timber industry 53 years until he retired at the age of 75. He was a lover of sports and spent many days as an umpire for both softball and baseball. Arthur Daniel was a coach for various girls softball teams. He was a devoted father and shared wealth with his children and grandchildren.

Arthur Daniel Bean was preceded in death by his parents Phillip “Bid” and Gladys Bean, son Bruce Bean and siblings Zenobie Horn, L.D. Bean, and Lee Roy Bean.

He leaves to cherish his memories (2) sons Arthur E. Bean of Corrigan, Texas and Jimmy Daniel Bean, of Lufkin, Texas (4) daughters Debra Hackett (Larry), Janice Hartsfield (Danny), both of Lufkin, Texas, Tina Bean of College Station, Texas and Gayle Bean of Lufkin, Texas (1) brother A. J. Bean of Woodville, Texas. (17) grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, and (3) great great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Viewing: Friday August 14, 2020 at 1:00pm-4:00pm

Coleman’s Family Mortuary along with the Bean family will require all family and friends to wear their masks and gloves and use all safety precautionary measures upon entering the church and during the service.

My deepest condolences. Arthur Bean Daniel, as I liked to call him, was an exception human being. I only saw him once but he truly had my heart.
