Zelma Anne Thomas was born May 17, 1951, to Connie Sr and Martha Thomas. She grew up int the First Methodist Church of Jasper and often shared stories of helping her grandmother clean the church before service. Zelma attended JH Rowe school where she graduated with the class of 1969. Later she met and married Clark Hunt Sr, from this union 3 children were born.

Zelma precedes in death, her parents, Connie Thomas Sr and Martha B. Thomas; one brother Dwight.

Zelma leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings Connie Sr (Marsha), Tom Terry (Norma), Steward,Avery Charles, Mervin, Anthony(Shelia), Anita, and Priscilla; Children, Dawn, Clark Jr, and KeeQuanna; Grandchildren, Da’Mien, Tomasena, Ke’Yana, Jayshu, Clark III, Alysia, Alexandria, Daytoria, Dajuan, Za’Keva, Annelia, Shakeelah, Leticia, and Lailyn; 11 Great—Grand Children; a host of nieces, nephews, dedicated family and friends including a best friend Katie Lou Larkin-Adams.
