Zebedee Carey Sr. “Zeb” was born to the late Wesley and Alma Carey on November 8, 1960 in Kountze, Texas and peacefully departed this life on October 31, 2020 in Beaumont, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a grandson.

He was a man that truly loved his family. He was a cook, a talker who loved to laugh and joke and loved his zydeco music.

He attended Kountze High School in Kountze, Texas.

Cherishing his memories are his wife, Latonia Wilson; daughters, Starlar Mattox (DeMarcus), LeTasha Jones (Chris), Neyosia Wilson, Torsha Wilson; sons Zebedee Carey Jr. (Taviea) Trevon Carey Sr. Jeremie Wilson, James Allen Jr; sisters Jeanetta Howard, Linda Carey, Arletha Edwards(J.W.) Deborah Thornton; brothers, Carl Wesley (Shirley) Freeman Lacey Sr. Gary Wayne Carey Sr. (Anita), Henry Carey Sr. (Carolyn); three aunts Helen Jubert of Lake Charles, La, Rosie Lee Williams of Tenaha, TX. and Margaret Carey Brown of Houston, Texas; one special granddaughter Malia Foster, 19 grand kids and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives, and friends.
