Obituary for Yvonne Yvette Breaux-Green
Yvonne Yvette Breaux Green 72, of Jasper Texas passed away peacefully February 28, 2021.
Yvonne Yvette Breaux Green was born on June 13, 1948 in Lafayette Louisiana to Rev. Clarence and Elodie Breaux. Yvonne accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She attended Lincoln High School and then when her father was transferred to Jasper to preach she graduated from JH Rowe High School Class of 1966. Yvonne met and married Leo Dale Green and to this union 3 girls were born. Although they divorced they remained supportive parents. Kim, Karen and Kathy were their world and shared many memorable times together. Yvonne attended Neely Grove UMC and at the time of her passing she was a faithful member of Faith Temple Church.
Yvonne attended and graduated from Angelina College with an Associate Degree in Health and Human Services and later obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration Degree from Columbia Southern University. Yvonne worked many years at the Chicken Factory then went on to use her degree as a Licensed Day Care Director for Tri County Head Start in Newton. Her passion was always sewing which lead her to create her sewing business well known as “The Fitting Room” where she designed weddings and attire for events in the community. Yvonne loved shopping, spending time with her family and talking on the phone with many friends.
Yvonne is proceeded in death by her parents; Rev. Clarence and Elodie Breaux, her sister Joann Benjamin, and her daughter Karen Green-Wysinger.
Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory her devoted daughters; Kim Green-Bronson (Alton Sr.), Kathy Green-Bass (Virgil Sr.), goddaughters Brandi Gulley-Smith (Dameon), Nicole Wright (Gary), Tracie Benjamin and godson Bruce Hadnot (Tancy). Son in law Jessie Wysinger. Sister Gwendolyn Loftin (Ken) and brother Clarence Breaux Jr. Her beloved grandchildren Christopher Bronson (Shanice), Alton Bronson Jr. (Ashley), Courtney Bronson (Cardell), Jessika Wysinger, Virgil Bass Jr and her 6 very energetic great grandchildren. Her memory will also be cherished by her sister in laws Lillie Simmons, Barbara Green, Mary Ann Domio, Lamerle Lewis, brother in law James Green and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. A lifelong friend Lavernon Thomas and last but not least her feisty chihuahua Bear.
