Obituary for Wilson Roy Jr.
Wilson Roy Jr., 74, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 11,2023.
Wilson Roy Jr., was the first born to Wilson Roy Sr. & Helen Beatrice (Winzey) Roy on June 23,1949. He was a long-time resident of the Beaumont/Port Arthur area. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1968. Upon graduating High School, he joined the United States AirForce and proudly served for 4 years. Wilson had a strong belief in higher education and did so by gaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in Behavior Science and a Master's Degree in History, he was also certified as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor and had a Degree in Theology. Later in life Wilson worked in the refinery industry where he was certified as an OSHA Qualified Safety Technician, he did this for over ten years, until his retirement.
He enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his family but especially his grandchildren.
He departed this life in the early morning on July 11th, 2023.
He is preceded in death by his parents & three brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Lois Roy, his three daughters, LaShaunna Delane, Sheila Roy & Morgan Jones (Rodderick). Three sons Terrance Roy (ShaNeese), Damien Anderson & Joseph Castle (Fallon).
Brothers, Donald Roy (Delois), Phillip Roy & Issiac Roy. Two Sisters, Paula Roberts (James) & Janet Harrell (Michael). 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. And a host of nieces and nephews, and other beloved family members.
