Valerie Denise Jackson, 60, of Woodville, Texas transitioned from this life Monday November 6th, 2023. Valerie Jackson was born September 27th, 1963 in Lufkin, Texas. Valerie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. She attended school in Woodville, Texas. Valerie worked as an educator for many years at Port Arthur ISD. Her teaching career began at Woodrow Wilson Middle School. She also worked at Travis Elementary, Booker T. Washington Elementary, and Port Arthur Memorial High School until she retired in 2021.

Valerie was passionate about her faith in God serving in several capacities - becoming an ordained minister, receiving her Universal Apostolic International Ministry certificate of license, and serving as associate minister of Seed of Faith Worship Center.

Valerie was preceded in death by her father McKinley Jackson, mother Clara Jackson, Brothers; Aubrey Jackson Sr.(Sharon) and Bobby Jackson. Valerie leaves to cherish her memory her siblings Donna Humphrey (Jimmy), Sheryl Cauley (Bobby), Teresa Mitchell, and Michael Jackson of Woodville, Texas and Willie Jackson of Jasper, Texas.
