Obituary for Tony Bogard Mahathay

Tony Bogard Mahathay was born on August 27, 1968 to Helen Mahathay and Albert Ray Good. He departed this life on February 20, 2021.

Tony attended Jasper High School, Class of 86’ and went on to Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas. He was employed as a supervisor for Oak Farms Dairy for many years. He later went on to become a supervisor at General Motors. If you knew Tony — you knew, to know him was to love him. He was compassionate, loving, kind, and he was a low-key type of guy. He untied with the home church of Jesus Christ, in Grand Prairie, Texas where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, serving until his death.
Tony loved God and his family. His favorite pastime was watching CNN and sports; basketball and football specifically. Not to mention FAITHFULLY cheering on his FAVORITE team, The Dallas Cowboys.

Preceding him in death — his father; Albert Ray Good, and his brother Robert Tyrone Gillis, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved mother: Helen Rose, his son Joshua Johnson, three grandchildren: Jakiece Johnson, Ke’aundrae Johnson and Penelope Smith, his siblings; Selena, Neal, Althena, JoAnna, Jacqueline, Semetra, and Carolyn along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
