Obituary for Tony Barclay
Tony Lamar Barclay, 62 of Warren, Texas passed away Friday, May 3, 2019.
Tony was born to the late McKinnley and Ozella Barclay on February 22, 1957. Tony accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and was a long time faithful member of Warren Chapel Baptist Church. There he rededicated his life to Christ under the leadership of Pastor Gerald Domoneck. He attended Warren High School where he became great friends to all and loved by so many. He worked hard as a logger for over twenty five years and had to then retire due to his failing health.
Tony was preceded in death by two brothers: Roy Weaver and Mack Allen Barclay.
Tony leaves to cherish his memories three beautiful daughters: Stacey Barkin, of Woodville, Texas, Danielle Barkin, of Lufkin, Texas, and Guenda Jones of Warren, Texas, Stepdaughter; Tracy Charles(Brandon) of Houston, Texas. One sister; LaWanda Gilder (Clarence), three brothers, Obie Barclay(Darlene), Michael R. Barclay, both of Warren, Texas, and Eddie Barclay of Lufkin, Texas. Two Aunts: Ruthie Barclay of Woodville, Texas and Earnestine Smith, of Mansfield, Texas. He also leaves behind his only and beloved grandchild: Malia Fowler as well as a special nephew McKinnley Comeaux, a long with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
