Tarsha Lazzelle Smith, 46, of Houston, Tx. departed this earthly life on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Tarsha Lazzelle Smith was born to Betty Joe Smith and M.L Traylor on January 1, 1972 in Woodville, Tx. Tarsha was such a caring, loving, and giving woman that never met a stranger. She always gave out of the abundance of her heart especially to her family in whom she loved dearly. Tarsha Smith was a devout Christian and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Tarsha united with Pleasant Hill Baptist in Woodville, Tx. Tarsha was a graduate of Woodville High School Class of 1990. She enjoyed the finer things in life. She was always a charming lady that loved to travel, shop, give her children the world, and ultimately live life to the fullest. Tarsha moved to Houston, Tx and later met the love of her life Edward Lee Deckard. Tarsha was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. On Saturday August 18, 2018 at St Luke’s Medical Hospital, God saw fit to call Ms. Smith home after a long fight of sickness.

Tarsha Smith was preceded in death by her father; M.L Traylor and brother; Larry Smith.

Tarsha leaves to cherish her memories her beloved companion; Edward Lee Deckard of Houston, Tx., Sons: Robert Gilder of Beaumont, Tx., Lexus Dearmon and Caleb Smith of Houston, Tx. Mother; Betty Joe Smith of Woodville, Tx., three sisters: Teresa Mitchell, Sabra Smith (IJ) of Woodville, Tx. and Mary Blue of Beaumont, Tx. Two brothers: Stephon (Glenda) of Woodville, Tx. and M.L Traylor, Jr. of Jasper, Tx. Sister-in-Law; Daniual Bean Smith of Houston, Tx. Grandchildren: Zaimarion & Zaidarain Gilder of Huntsville,Tx, Terrell Hope (Cry Baby). God Son; Tracee Barlow of Houston, Tx. and dear friends Margaret Barkin (Polly Pig) and Sallie Hicks.
