Obituary for Specialist Jacoby Ramon McFarland

Specialist Jacoby Ramon McFarland was born January 28, 1994 in Jasper, TX. to Aaron and Marcia McFarland. In his teenage years he was raised by his parents Aaron McFarland and Marcia and Hank Bronson.

Jacoby McFarland gave his life to Christ at a young age and was an active member of Armstrong Memorial CME Church where he served as an usher, youth choir member and Sunday school secretary. Spc. McFarland graduated from Jasper High School; Class of 2012. He was a member of the Jasper Bulldogs football team and played trumpet in the school band. In 2013 he joined The United States Army as a 74 Delta Chemical Radiological Biology and Nuclear Specialist.

In his spare time Jacoby enjoyed watching football and was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed playing his PlayStation better known as screen name Ez Money_511. Most of all he loved helping people and being around family and friends.

Jacoby McFarland is proceeded in death by his great-grandparents: paternal- Verget and Sadie McFarland, Henry and Jeanette Miles, maternal great-grandparents: Winnie Armstrong, Tom and Cora Horn; grandparents Preston and Dorothy McFarland.

Jacoby McFarland leaves to cherish his memories: father; Aaron McFarland, mother; Marcia (Hank) Bronson, (4) brothers; Byron McFarland, Bryan (Alexis) Kenebrew, Edrick Bronson and Darren Bronson, (6) sisters; Tovia Kenebrew, Territa Gilbert, Ja’Naysha McFarland, Jasmine Bronson, J’Nyah Bronson and Kierra Bronson, Grandparents; Mary and Willie McCray, Mary Alice and George Lee, (4) aunts; Lisa Adams, Amy (Gentry) Bankhead, Jaclyn Napoleon and Wanda (Presley) Franks, (4) uncles; Preston Tyrone McFarland, Lester Kelly, Jeremy (Shalona) McCray and William Vanessia) McCray, (8) nieces; Xeriah Kenebrew, Kacee Kennedy, Reagan Kenebrew, McKenzie Kenebrew, Jaliyah Reed, Adasia Bronson, London Bronson and Joyciline Bronson (4) nephews; Darian Johnson, Elijah Kenebrew, Amari Clay and Corey Reed III. He also leaves his God Mother Paulette Brown along with a special cousin; Chandler- Dickinson- Lomas who he loved and cherished as his own brother...along with a host of cousins, family and friends.
