Obituary for Shirley Bean (Hadnot)

Shirley Beatrice Hadnot-Bean (71) was born on April 29,1951, to the late Lincoln and Alice Hadnot in Woodville, Texas. Shirley passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Shirley was the youngest of thirteen children and she loved growing up with her large family and helping all her siblings. She joined Moss Hill Baptist Church at an early age and attending school in Tyler County.

Shirley met and married George Bean and from this union, one child was born. Shirley was hardworking and she loved taking care of her home and she loved her family.

Shirley will be rejoining her loved ones as she was preceded in death by her parents; Lincoln and Alice Hadnot. Four sisters; Ethel Mae Hadnot, Mercedes Hadnot, Evelyn Jean Collins, and Jessie Mae Smith. Six brothers; James Herbert Hadnot, Otis James “OJ” Hadnot; C.M Hadnot, L.T “Ethan” Hadnot, Billy Earl Hadnot and J.C. Hadnot.

She leaves to cherish her memory a loving daughter, Qualanda Rasberry (Stanley) of Tomball, TX; two grandchildren; Courtney Rasberry and Deion Rasberry both of Austin, TX. Seven great-grandchildren; Aniyah, Cairo, Mico, Zyhir, Javian, Jacari and Deja. One loving sister, Fredna Ruth Johnson of Beaumont, TX., One loving brother; E.D Hadnot of Dallas, TX. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service for Mrs. Shirley Bean, is set for Saturday, October 22, 2022 2pm at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church / Woodville, Texas
