Obituary for Shalynn Lashay Williams

Shalynn Lashay Williams was born on June 2, 2001 in Houston,Texas to Latoya Inez Williams and Nakia Ali Edmond on February 23, 2021 Shalynn went home to Glory.

Shalynn loved to dance and listen to Beyonce all the time, she was very loving and had a nurturing characteristic towards others. She never liked to see anyone hurt she always wanted to see a smile on your face. Shalynn attended schools in Lafayette, Louisiana, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana as well as Woodville, Texas. In accepting Jesus Christ as her personal Savior she was recently baptized. I send this with you my darling daughter may you rest easy. I love you and you'll forever be in my heart as well as the family we love you!

Shalynn is proceeded in death by her great-grandfather; Wilson Williams and grandfathers; John Beaty Jr. and JW Williams as well as great-grandmother; Josephine Williams.

Shalynn leaves to cherish her memories: her mother; Latoya Williams-Anthony(Jonathan), father; Nakia Edmond (Dalasha), siblings; Deavien Cormier, Tyrese Williams, Othello Anthony, O'Ryan Anthony, Shakia Edmond, Nakia Edmond Jr., Jakia Edmond, Nakeithen Edmond and Shay Edmond, great-grandmother; Rosa Moye, grandmothers; Sarah Beaty Williams and Micheline Edmond. Shalynn Lashay also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and friends.
