Born May 23, 1958 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to the late Jimmie Sr. and Betty Powell. Sandra, joined church at an early age and she received her education at Kountze ISD. Sandra, worked at Kountze Nursing Center and Kountze ISD as a cook. Sandra, later met and married Lonnie Ray Boykin to this union 5 five children were born. Sandra, later joined House of Prayers in Silsbee, Texas under the leadership of Rev. Chapman Sandra transition from this earth Monday August 28, 2023.

She is proceeded in death by her parents: Jimmie Sr. and Betty Powell sons Jamieson Powell, Billy and Willie Powell, Brother: Andrew Powell, Grandkids Nevaeh Boykin, Davante, and Datandra Powell, Neice Jasmine Powell, nephew: Jeremy Wilson

Sandra's memory will be cherished and she will be missed by Daughters : Sherry Caprice of Silsbee Tx , Tiffany Clemons of Kountze Tx , Sons; Colan Boykin (Lacey) of Fort Worth, TX., Caprice Boykin of Kountze, TX siblings; Jimmie ( Lisa ) Powell , Alfred Powell Sr. Kountze, Texas . Eddie (Takelia) Powell Woodville , TX. Leonard ( Jackie) Powell of Beaumont, TX. Sister: Patricia Powell Kountze, Texas Katrina (Kevin) Pearson of Buna, Texas Pricilla (Shawn) Banks of Port Arthur, Texas Uncle: Herman (Earlene) Simmons, of Kountze, TX, (15) grandkids, 9 great grandkids a host of nieces, nephews sister friend Rheuberta Smith of Beaumont, TX. and a special close friend, Otis Wiley of Silsbee, TX.
