Samuel Joseph Guidry, 66, of Jasper, Texas passed away Wednesday, February 21,2024.
Samuel Joseph Guidry was born to Roosevelt & Mable Guidry on March 18, 1957, in Beaumont, TX.
He attended J.H Henderson in China, TX and graduated from Hardin Jefferson High School in Sour Lake TX in 1975. Samuel was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He worked as a commercial truck driver for over 30 years prior to retirement. Sam was an affiliate member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Jasper, TX.
Samuel enjoyed socializing with family and friends, along with his wife and children. He had a love for animals, especially his pet beagles. He also enjoyed sports, music, dominos, barbequing, walking in the park and going to concerts.
Samuel departed this life the morning of Wednesday, February 21, at home with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt & Mable Guidry, and his brothers Fredrick & Joseph Guidry.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving and devoted wife Glenda Rugley-Guidry of Jasper TX; His Children - Demetrice Guidry Fowler of Houston, TX, Samantha Guidry of Houston, TX, Stevilyn “Kellah” Rugley-Gray & Janell “Kyrrah” Rugley-Gray of Jasper, TX; Grandchildren – DeAndrick Fowler, Ariana Sims and JueneaGray; Siblings – Floyed Guidry of Beaumont Tx, Roosevelt Guidry Jr (Barbara) of Houston, TX, Patrick Guidry (Martha) of Beaumont, TX, Stephanie Cyprian (Frank) of Houston, TX, Robert Guidry (Debra), Rodney Guidry (DeLisa), Gerald Guidry and Evelyn Guidry of Beaumont, TX. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
