Obituary for Rutha Lee Page (Adams)

Rutha Lee Adams-Page, 80, of Houston, Texas passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Rutha Lee Adams Page was the third child born to the late Walter and Cora Adams on August 16, 1943 in Kountze Texas. She attended public school in Kountze and graduated from George Washington Carver in 1962.

On February 14, 1968 Rutha married RA Page and they remained together until she was called home after 56 years. Together they raised for wonderful children. Rutha's personality was genuine, kind and loving. Her infectious smile drew you in, and all who knew her gravitated toward the friendliness and the spirit of Christ within her. She was a member of Holy Trinity COGIC (Morris O. Jenkins, Jr., Pastor) where she served on the usher board (Psalm 84:10) as well as a member of the COGIC National Usher Board. In 1977 Rutha started at a master tailor at the Men's Wearhouse in Houston Texas where she worked for 25 vears. She remained there until her retirement in 2002.

She is proceeded in death by two sons, Reginald Page, Raymond Page, and a grandson Michael Thompson.

On February 2, 2024 Rutha was called home to glory. She leaves to mourn in her passing, husband R. A. Page, son Arnold, Thompson, daughter Priscilla Briscoe, son-in-law, Eustace Briscoe. two sisters Corine Lightsey, and Marie Cruse, one brother-in-law, Ralph Cruse, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
