Obituary

Mr. Robert Earl Lee was born in Hillister, Texas to Leola Carter Lee and Virgil Lee on January 4, 1956. Robert was the eighth of ten children born into the Lee family. Growing up in Hillister, Texas he attend East Chapel Baptist Church and later joined Hillister Church of Christ. Robert married Linda Hale in June of 1973. Together they raised three children and enjoyed ten grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Robert was a professional logger for over 20 years. He loved trail riding, going fishing, horses, and never met a barbecue pit he didn’t like. Most of all Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and loved ones.

Robert was preceding in death by his parents Leola and Virgil Lee, (brothers) V.C, Homer, J.D., A.D., Joe, (sisters) Azilee and Gladys.

He leaves behind his loving wife Linda Lee (Hillister, Texas), sons Robert Jr. and Dosic Lee (Bismarck, North Dakota) and daughter Sureka Lee (Huntsville, Texas) as well as a brother George Lee (Jasper, Texas) and a sister Celeste Lee-Wyatt (Houston, Texas). Robert also leaves behind nine grand children in North Dakota and one in Rhoda Island as well as two great grandchildren in Rhoda Island. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.


Funeral Service for Mr. Robert Lee will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 12:00 pm. Viewing starts at 10am - 12pm.
