Obituary for Quintina Houston

Quintina Houston, 50, of Jasper, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.


Tina was born on May 29, 1973 to Joseph and Alice Glenn. Tina entered enteral rest on November 29, 2023.
Tina was born and raised in Jasper Texas and was a current resident of Humble, Texas

Tina joined Mt Olive MBC at a young age and later joined Word of God Outreach where she was a faithful member for many years. Later she served as CoFounder of Bridging the Gap Ministry which primarily serves as ministry for family and aide for single parents and the homeless.

Tina married the love of her life, Kevin Houston on July 31, 1993. To this union three children were born: Kevin D'Marcus Houston (Patricia) of Jasper, Texas, Ke'Ana Houston (Gary) of Humble, Texas and DeKendrick "Kenny" Houston (Tatyana) of College Station, Texas. Tina enjoyed cooking, singing and spending time with family. She was definitely a beautiful soul and left a longing impact on all of those around her. Tina was full of humor and kept her family laughing until the day of her departure.

Tina was proceeded in death by her father, Joseph Glenn and her brother Marcus Glenn and Father-in-law Jimmy Houston. She leaves to mourn her departure yet cherish her memory her husband Kevin, Children: Kevin, Ke'Ana, Kenny and bonus son Donovan Middleton (La'Dhajai). Grandchildren Kingston, Kaden, Neveah, Isaiah. Her mother Alice Glenn of Jasper, her baby sister LaKendra Garrett (Melvin) of Orange, Texas and her daughters KaDaisha (Great nephew/niece Sincere and Serenity), MyKelia, Abilyn, Neriah, Nyla. Mother-in-law Mary Houston of Jasper, Texas, Sister-in-law Katrina (Brian) Sacksteder of Westlake, Louisiana and daughters Brianna, Haley, Jada. A host of nieces, nephews, and family/friends that will miss her dearly.

Tina and her husband Kevin Houston were both part of the Jasper High School graduating class of 1991.
