Pete sang at my first wedding in 1978(just days after burying his two brothers)and played at my second wedding in 1997. He will always hold a special place in my heart and heaven truly has gained an angel. Sending prayers of hope and comfort to you, Charlene and his family. We are Doucette proud to call him one of our own.

I loved him like a brother and grew up next door listening to him hone his piano playing and singing skills. Even though God let him touch our lives in a positive manner so briefly, it was sufficient...because you the family of Pete Blackmon, should know that he was a good soldier. I know that you will miss him, but he's moved on to even greater things.
