Obituary for Michael Keith King

Michael Keith King was born in San Augustine, TX on May 18, 1958 to the late Jimmie King and Sam Ella Berry King. Michael attended West Sabine ISD in Pineland, TX where he later met and married Patricia King on October 8, 1985. To this union, Michael and Patricia King added two adoring children. Michael worked for Elliot’s Argi Service before he retired. Unable to sit at home, he eventually went back to work at the local post office, Pilgrim’s Pride and then Pineland Sanitation before his demise.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren. Most importantly, he held his grandchildren, Marquis King (Bug), Christopher King Jr. (Nunu), Mi’Ziyah King (Ziyah) and Treavon Beatty (Trea) dear to his heart. He made sure that they were his priority and were taken care of, regardless of the situation. He was passionate about hunting, fishing, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with family.

Michael leaves his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Patricia King of Pineland, TX; his son, Christopher King (Marquita) of Jasper, TX; his daughter, Shawndivca King (Frederick) of Pineland, TX; his beloved sisters, Jill King and Lisa King of Lufkin, TX; his brothers, Sammie King (Cynthia) of Lufkin, TX; Stanford King (Annie) of Lufkin, TX; Ronald King (Carolyn) of Lufkin, TX; Mathew King and Dennie King of Lufkin, TX; a special niece Octavia Bosely; a special nephew Alandis Douglas; a special friend, Pee-wee, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will always cherish his memory.
