Obituary for Mary Alice Bronson-Lee
Mary Alice Bronson-Lee, 81, of Jasper, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, November 23, 2020.
Mary Alice Bronson-Lee was born on November 3, 1939 in Jasper, Texas to Jim Ford and Della Hadnot-Ford. Mary accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior at an early age. She attended and graduated from JH Rowe High School class of 1957. Mary met and married Dallas Bronson and was a caring and faithful wife until his sudden death. Later in life she found love again and married her darling husband George Henry Lee. Mary was a long time faithful member, secretary of Sunday School and youth department; and was affectionately known as the “Mother” of Westlake Missionary Baptist Church. She was considered a lady of many hats, she enjoyed cooking and fishing. She loved spending time with family and friends but had a passion for taking care of others as a personal caregiver to many.
Mary Alice Bronson-Lee is proceeded in death by her parents; Jim and Della Ford, (3) daughters: Mary Ann Bronson, Jeannie Harris and Pearlie Collier and (1) God-daughter; Cassie Collins, siblings; Lamar Ford, Dorothy Grant, Norma Jean Shaw, Jackie Riley and Alma Jewel McDaniel-Johnson.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband; George Henry Lee, (3) sons; Alton (Kim), Hank (Marcia) and Wilbert Ray, (3) daughters; Annie Brooks, Vilvia “Cookie” Williams and her namesake Alice Hall (Ken) along with (2) step-daughters; Trina Lee and Tina Lee. Mary also leaves (5)sisters: Ruby Mays, Betty McGee, Betty Ford, Theresa Samuel and Patsy Samuel, (3) brothers: Harold Cauley, Otto Cauley and Jason Ford and (1)aunt; Betty Shaw. Her memory will also be cherished by her (18) grandchildren a long with a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
