Linda Ann Jerue was born November 26, 1952 to Willie and Ruth Jerue in Woodville, Texas. Linda accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was a faithful and dedicated member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church until her transition. God blessed Linda with the gift of singing. Her voice was known all around Tyler County and she was often asked to share her talent among many churches. The songs she sang were a testament to her belief and her love for Christ. She asked God when you start passing out blessings, have one “Just for Me.” She accepted Christ and moved from her old way of life to her brand “New Life.” God “Looked Beyond Her Faults,” and let her know “That’s Alright” when life was not always pleasant. She heard the voice of Jesus say “Come unto me and rest. Lie down thou weary one, lay down thy head upon my breast ” And now she has closed her eyes and is singing one of her family’s favorite songs, “ Some glad morning, when this life is over, I am going to fly away.” In addition to singing, she also enjoyed spending time with her family as well as attending church.
