Kenneth Ray Davis Sr. was born to Bendy Davis and Willie Mae Taylor on May 26, 1959. Everyone called him “Ken”. He departed this life in Houston, Texas, on July 24, 2020.

Kenneth was a member of the Greater Mount Corinth Missionary Baptist Church of Kountze, Texas. Kenneth was also a Labor and Truck Driver with the Santa Fe Railroad for 22 years. Kenneth also served in the U.S. Navy

Kenneth was preceded in death by his Father Bendy Davis, Mother Willie Mae Taylor, Brothers Burkhart Hoskins, Don Davis, Sisters Joyce McLemore, and Bennie Merel Taylor.

He leaves seven children to cherish his memories: Sons Vedal Davis, Kendrix Davis, Kenneth Ray Davis Jr., and Isiah Hancock. Daughters LaChina (Williams) Jones, Leanna (Trachanzie) Poole, and Kysa Davis. His brothers Wendell (Nancy) Hoskins, Morris (Jackie) Hoskins, Willie (Sherian) Doyle Jr., Charles Bendy (Martha) Davis, Ricky (Honorene) Davis, Keith (Sabrina) Davis; Kenneth (Vanessa) Garner, Irvin (Twana) Bostic; and Kevin Davis. His sisters Flossie (Jack) Darden, Patsy Thompson, Bendy Lee, Jeanette Manning, and Lisa Davis.
