Obituary for Katherine Anne Radford (Bertrand)
Katherine Anne Radford, 63, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Kathy was born in Beaumont, Texas on April 7th, 1960. Kathy graduated from Forest Park High School in 1979. Kathy married Richard Morgan Radford on October 11, 1980; they were married for 40 years before he was called to his forever home.
Kathy spent her younger years watching kids and being a stay-at-home wife and mother. She loved spending every minute she could with her six grandchildren, they were her life. Kathy loved to talk about her grandchildren with anyone who would listen. She was so proud of them and loved them dearly.
Kathy is survived by her mother Patricia Conway and father Ron Conway, her son Richard Allen Radford and wife Candice Radford, her daughter Kodi Leger and husband Jason Leger, grandchildren Logan Radford, Landen Radford, Caylee Radford, Kason Leger, Gracelyn Leger and Morgan Leger. She is also Survived by her siblings, Mikey Bertrand, Douglas Bertrand, Robert Bertrand, Mary Lowe, Tommy Bertrand, Shannin Williams, and Shawn Conway and her best friend Vickie Erwin, and many other family and friends.
Kathy is preceded in death by her husband Richard Morgan Radford, Grandmother Alma Bertrand, best friend Kelly Scroggins, along with other family and friends.
Due to Kathy’s wish, we will not have a funeral, as she wanted to be cremated. We will have a Celebration of Life, February 24, 2024, from 1pm-3pm at First Baptist Church Bevil Oaks, address is 7725 Sweetgum Rd Bevil Oaks, TX 77713. Please join us in Celebrating her life.
