Julian Wayne Burns son of the late Johnnie and Lillian Burns, Sr., was born in Monroe, Louisiana on May 12, 1953.

Julian Wayne Burns departed to his heavenly home on November 15, 2018. He lived most of his life in West Monroe, Louisiana. At the time of his transition he was residing in Rosharon, Texas.
Wayne was employed at Irby Co. /Electrical Distributor & Irby Utilities (Sonepar) as a Procurement/Warehouse Analyst in West Monroe, Louisiana for 38 years.
In his leisure he loved to landscape, volunteer, play with the grand dogs, (Sacha and Jasmine) and sit on the porch listening to music. He was a graduate of West Monroe High School.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Lillian Burns, Sr., brother Johnnie Burns, Jr. and two sisters Barbara Johnson and Anita Burns Carter.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter: Tabatha (Matthew) Thomas of Rosharon, Texas, one son Jeffery (Shalonda) Leonard of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama, one grandson Kentrell Brice, Sr., one great grandson Kentrell Brice, Jr., and host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
