Johnny Richard Rigsby, 75, of Jasper, Texas native of Woodville, Texas transitioned to Glory January 21, 2023.
Johnny Richard Rigsby, was born January 22, 1947 to the late John L and Ira Lee Rigsby. Johnny was born and raised in Woodville, Texas. He attended Scott High School. Johnny was a hard worker and a provider. He worked at Matthews Construction for many years until he retired.
Johnny was preceded in death by (2) children: Marilyn McNeal and Mark Rawls, (3) siblings Raymond Rigsby, Michael Rigsby, Willie Rigsby, and Benina Bryant.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories (3) children; Johnny Cardale Hadnot (Michelle), Denise McBride (Gene), Geneva Birdlong (Freddie) and (2) step children: Norma Thomas (Tom) and Larry Rawls. (3) brothers: Robert Simmons (Wanda), Edward Rigsby (Florence), Donald Rigsby and (1) sister: Irene Hartsfield (William). (3) aunts: Jurrlean Collier, Russelean Moye, and Mary Hall, Grandkids: Jaron, Tanira, Miyah, Shakith, Lacey, Crailyn, Allison, Alexis, Joshua, Farrien, Courtney and Fredrick along with a host of step grandkids, niece, nephew, and relatives.
