John T. Ashworth, 85, passed away on April 06, 2024 in Bon Wier, TX. He was born to Emerson Ashworth and Bessie Lewis White on February 16, 1939 in Bancoft, LA. John is preceded in death by his parents, wife (Matilda Ashworth), two sons (John T. Ashworth, Jr and Lewis Ashworth), one daughter (Linda Ashworth), two brothers (L.C. Ashworth and Adolph Lewis Banks) and three sisters (Earnestine Colton, Bea Spikes, and Adell Marie Banks)

John is survived by his daughter Janice Ashworth, two sons Michael Ashworth (Martha Ashworth) and Mark Ashworth (Jacinta Ashworth). He also leaves to cherish 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. A special aunt; Emma Spikes, sister n law; Sandra Lee and special niece; Ambika Seastrunk.

John worked over 40 years as a skidder driver, loader, and trimmer. He also enjoyed spending numerous hours hunting.
