Joann Gaines Smith, 76, of Lumberton, Texas passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023.
Joann Gaines Smith was born in Voth (Beaumont),Texas on October 19,1946 to her late parents; Buford and Georgie Mae Gaines.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Richard Smith, her parents; Buford and Georgie Mae Gaines, (2) brothers; Bill Gaines Jr. and Johnny Gaines.
Joann is survived by her son; Michael Smith and daughter in law Misty Norwood and grandson Hunter Norwood. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and a special family friend Barney Roberts.
Joanne enjoyed spending time family and friends watching football especially the Houston Texans, drinking Coca Cola and talking about her miniature donkeys. Her most favorite pastime was listening to Elvis Presley songs.
