Obituary for James Earl Simmons

In Loving Memory

James Earl Simmons
June 23, 1950 – December 24, 2020
Loving Husband, Father, Brother, Friend, and BEST Fisherman. James’ towering figure, nonchalant attitude, sarcastic humor, and undeniable commitment to family will be missed by all. His loving memory will continue in our hearts.

Little Did We Know

Little did we know that morning God was going to call your name; in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. When God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. He put his arms around you and whispered come to me. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
