Obituary for Isaiah Haynes

Isaiah (Gooda Boy) Haynes was born April 2, 1946 in Kountze, TX to loving parents Rev. Eddie Haynes Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Bell Baker Haynes.

Isaiah attended school at the Waldo Matthew |Elementary in Silsbee, TX. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in 1965 in Kountze, TX. He was very industrious. He worked for Wiliford’s Grocery store after school. Isaiah moved to Flint Michigan in 1973, where he was employed by General Motors for 30 years before retiring.

Preceding him in death were his parents: Rev. Eddie Haynes Sr. and Mrs. Carrie Bell Baker Haynes, Three brothers: Percy B, Sylvester, and Kelso Haynes, and three sisters: Bert Ola Haynes, Mabelene Fontenot, and Naomi Wesley.

He Leaves to cherish his memory: His loving wife; Shelia Jennings Haynes, six children; Sharon Haynes of Flint, MI., Andre Haynes (Kim) of Kountze,TX., Gerron Haynes (Stacey), Rodney Jones, Raquel Haynes and DeMarkco Jones (Lana); Ten (10) grandchildren and several great grandchildren all of Flint, MI.
