Irma Jean Rawls was born April 26, 1949 to the late George and Irma Lee Diggles. She was one of four sisters and two brothers. Irma lived in Jasper all her life. She graduated class of 1967. At an early age she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Irma attended the Church of Jesus Christ House of Prayer, Apostle Henry Andrus as Pastor.

Irma was a very sweet and caring woman filled with a lot of love. She had a warm, kind, and gentle spirit. She enjoyed cooking and going to church. Irma loved being in the presence of her children and close friends. Most of all she enjoyed raising and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents: George & Irma Diggles, daughter: Carolyn Rawls, sisters: Loreen Davis, Bobby-Ree Diggles, and Mary Adams. Brothers: Clyde Diggles and Lewis Diggles.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband; Sylvester Rawls of Jasper, TX., Daughter: Norma Thomas (Tom Terry) of Jasper, TX., Sons: Larry Rawls (Rosa) of Dallas, TX., and Mark Rawls of Jasper, TX. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
