Floyd Harvey, 87, of Kountze, Texas passed away peacefully Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Floyd Lee Harvey was born June 18, 1935 in Honey Island, Texas to father Harold Harvey and mother Roberta Harvey.
Floyd was raised in Honey Island and attended school at Waldo Matthew in Silsbee, Texas. Floyd moved to Iowa after school and maintained several jobs before retiring. Floyd was very active in his Masonic Lodge.
Floyd was preceded death by his parents: Harold Harvey, Sr. and Roberta Harvey, son; George Cavil and sister Lois Wilson.
Floyd is survived by his son: James Harvey, daughters: Glenda Harvey, Annetta Harvey, Floydean Harvey, Demorris Smith and Tanya Frazier, siblings: Elouise Clemons, Linda Turner (Nathan), Harold Harvey Jr., Eddie Harvey Sr.,(Ruby) Patricia Harvey, Venita Harvey as well as six grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.
