Obituary for Erma Jean Hadnot

Mrs. Erma Jean Hadnot, 77, of Woodville, Texas was called home on Monday, June 18, 2018.

She was born January 27, 1941 to the union of Steve and Pearl Mitchell in Woodville, Texas. She was a devout Christian, and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior, then dedicated her life to service. She was a long time faithful member of Jerusalem Holy Temple Church of God in Christ. She showed her generosity to all and never met a stranger. Above all of these things, Mrs. Erma Jean Hadnot was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and of all her grandchildren.

Mrs. Erma Jean Hadnot was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Pearl Mitchell, her husband; Rev. Robert L. Hadnot, two (2) sons; Robert Lynn Hadnot and Stephon Hadnot, one (1) daughter; April Shuntae Hadnot-Lacey, four (4) sisters; Naomi Marshall, Sandra (Sue) Barnes, Lois Credit and Anna Herring, three (3) brothers; Rev. Melvin Mitchell, Rev. Lester Mitchell and Rev. Chester Mitchell.

Mrs. Erma Jean Hadnot leaves to cherish her memories: Two (2) sons; Charles Hadnot of Woodville, Tx., and Robert Hadnot of Lufkin, Tx., One (1) daughter; Valerie Hadnot-Rawls of Beaumont, Tx., God-Daughter; Lesere (Peaches) Mallard of Woodville, Tx, two (2) sisters; Robbie McNeal and Freda Thomas, four (4) brothers; Steve Willie Mitchell, Rev. Dan Mitchell, Rev. John Mitchell and Mac Mitchell, eleven (11) grandchildren; Crystal Hadnot, Dominick Parks, Kayla Harris, Breanna Lee, Lillian Janel Hadnot-Vidol, Allen Lee, Stephon Hadnot II, Dillon Lacey, Dylliaunna Lacey, Christian Rawls and Nicalus Hadnot. Along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
