Obituary for Eric "Big E" Limbrick

Eric Andre Limbrick was born April 20, 1978 in Houston, TX to the late Johnnie Mae Limbrick and Ernest Alexander. He grew up in Jasper, Texas where he graduated from Jasper High School in 1997. In 2004 Eric married the love of his life Zara Horn Limbrick. Eric and Zara were proud to add their beloved pet Brownie Limbrick to the family. Eric was employed at the Pinecrest Retirement Center prior to his illness. Eric accepted Christ and united with Moss Hill Baptist Church. He was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Will Limbrick. He united with Bethel Bible Ministries on Sunday, May 29, 2021 and rededicated his life to Christ under the leadership of Pastor Curtis B. Alexander. He joined Bethel Bible Ministries by way of our teleconference service, and faithfully attended via teleconference during his illness. The Bethel Bible Ministries family will miss him dearly.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae Limbrick; his grandparents, John and Alice Limbrick; his aunt, Rosa Lee Brydson, his nephew, Ruvonte Limbrick; his cousin, Alex Brydson (Santone), and his beloved father figures, Curtis Cuney, and William Runnels, Jr.

Eric Andre Limbrick departed this life on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his home.

Eric was a devoted son, husband, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved his family and friends dearly. Left with cherished and fond memories is his wife, Zara Limbrick (Lufkin, TX); brothers: Ernest Limbrick, Sr.(Lufkin, TX), Criston Limbrick (Faith) (Jasper, TX), Russell Limbrick (Alisha); Uncles: Elmo Limbrick (Shirley) (Pasadena, TX), Roy Limbrick (Patricia) (Humble, TX), and Johnny Limbrick (Laverne) (Houston, TX); mother-in-law, Minnie Horn, father-in-law, Willie Rigsby, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends whom he cherished greatly.
