Obituary

DuJuan(DJ) Mondell Lewis was born March 19th, 1977 in Woodville, Texas to the Union of Billy Jack Lewis Sr. and Alice Faye Lewis (whom both preceded him in death). He departed his earthly life on January 27th, 2019.

DJ was a homegrown Woodville Eagle and loved to be around people each and every day. Friends that knew him knew his love for Doucette, Coca-Cola, WWE Wrestling, and the Dallas Cowboys. He always wanted people to live their life to the fullest and wasn’t shy about calling anyone’s bluff. He’s always loved and respected the parents, children, and history of the community in which he lived.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy Jack Lewis Sr, his mother Alice Lewis, and one sister, Pamela Sidaya Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memory (1) brother, Billy Jack Lewis Jr (LaQuita); (2) nephews, Omari Lewis, Beckham Lewis, and (1) niece Khoree Lewis; the entire Lewis Family; Aunties and Uncles; HORN family, Auntie and Uncles, along with a host of cousins, friends, and relatives.
