Diana Rene Cottonham, 58, of Houston, TX departed this earthly life on Friday, May 11, 2018.

Diana Rene Cottonham was born December 24, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Orman Earl Keys and Mary Elizabeth Keys. Diana graduated high school from Neal F. Simeon Vocational High School in 1978. After graduating high school she attended Grambling State University where she graduated in 1982 with a degree in Business Administration.

While attending G.S.U. she met and later married Ronald Lee Cottonham in June of 1988. Diana and Ronald had one child, Alexus Dominique Cottonham. Both Diana and Ronald became members of New Light Christian Center Church in 1996. They were married until Ronald’s passing in 2000. Diana Rene Cottonham was loved by many and could always be counted on to share her infectious laughter and sense of humor.

Diana Rene Cottonham was preceded in death by her husband; Ronald Lee Cottonham, parents; Orman Earl Keys and Mary Elizabeth Keys, and (1) one uncle who she held dear to her heart; Willie Roger Keys.

Diana Rene Cottonham leaves to cherish her memory are her daughter, Alexus D. Cottonham of Houston, TX, (2) two brothers; Orman Keys (Lena) and Andre Keys both from Chicago, IL., (1) one aunt, Joann Wilmer of San Diego, CA., (2) two special cousins; Rukeesha Keys-Smith of Chicago, IL and Nichel Moreland of Atlanta, GA., best friend Bernadine Cottonham Player of Fresno, TX. along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
