Obituary for Debra Ann Jessie
Debra Ann Jessie, 67, of Lufkin, Texas native of Camden, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
Debra Ann Jessie was born February 20, 1956 in Camden, Texas to the late Beula Brooks and John Bennett, being the oldest of 12 children.
She attended Corrigan-Camden ISD. After high school she worked vigorously her entire life. She married her first husband Herchell Martin February 14, 1986, and later married the love of her life Clyde Jessie, December 15, 2000, whom she remained married to until her departure. She enjoyed being a care giver at Quest Homes, were worked until her final days. Taking care of her family brought her the greatest joy, especially her grandkids.
On February 28, 2023 at CHI St. Luke’s Medical Center in Lufkin, TX our beloved mother left her earthly home behind. Debra is proceeded in death by her Mother: Beula Brooks, Father: John Bennett, Brothers: Cedric Brooks, Don Bennett, Joel Bennett, Sisters: Kimberly Brooks Minor and Katherine Bennett, Sister-In-Law: Brenda Jessie Jackson and Grandson: Antonio Sigrest
Her life legacy will forever be cherished in the lives of her Husband: Clyde Jessie, Daughters: Shelitha Martin(Jerry), Ada Martin(Adrian), Sha-Yusma Martin, Son: Kerry Woods(Yadira), Sisters: Marion Lyons, Raquel Brooks, Paula Brooks, Kisha Brooks Barlow(John), Susan Saez(Jessie), Brothers: Michael Brooks(Cindy), George Rains(Nikki), Robyn Josey(Helen), Victor Brooks(Yolanda), Bryant Brooks(Jennie), Grankids: Jamal Woods(Niyah), Tia-Kia Henderson, Herchell Martin, Kiana Holcomb(Jamsion), Devonte Wyatt, Shauntavea Holcomb(Quita), Tarius Martin(Taylor), Nathan King, Tyshanique King, Jeramia Martin(Son). 5 Great-grandkids, Mother-In-Law: Norvie Jessie, Sister-In-Laws: Kashaun Jessie, Kathy Rodgers(Husand name), Debra Davis, Brother-in-law: Gregory Jessie, Special Friends: Shawn and Elegro Berry and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.
