Obituary for Debra Lynn Crosby

Mrs. Debra Lynn Hicks-Crosby, 57, of Spurger, Texas peacefully departed this life on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville, Texas.

Mrs. Debra Lynn Hicks-Crosby was born on June 20, 1960 in Rusk, Texas to James Nolan Hicks and Oneta Shipp.

Spending the majority of her life in Spurger, Texas she called it home. Debra loved spending time with her beautiful grandchildren. Mrs. Debra had a passion for gardening and for animals. She also loved to travel the Northern States with her late husband of 44 years Richard Crosby. Richard and Debra were married on February 11, 1976. Through their union they had four (4) children.

Debra Lynn Crosby was preceded in death by her husband; Richard Crosby and her father; James Nolan Hicks.
Debra Lynn Crosby leaves to cherish her memories four (4) children: Teresa Lynn Crosby (BJ), James Daniel Crosby (Karla), Zane Crosby (Selina), and Katherine Crosby (Johnny) all of Spurger, Texas. Debra also leaves her mother: Oneta Shipp-Ray, eleven (11) grandchildren, seven (7) brothers, and five (5) sisters. Along with a host nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Crosby will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00pm at Coleman’s Family Mortuary Chapel 409 South Magnolia Woodville, Texas. 75979 (409) 283-3031. Serving Families With The Love of God. www.colemansfamilymortuary.com
