Deacon Theo Bean, 79, was born February 20, 1940 in Tyler County to the late Mr. Aaron and Sudie Mae Bean. He resided in Doucette, TX all his life. Theo was baptized at an early age and was a devoted Christian. He served as a Deacon at True Vine Baptist Church until his passing.

He departed this life on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at approximately 6:41 p.m. at home surrounded by family and love ones. He met and married Maxine Wells on March 11, 1965. Theo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and family man.

Theo leaves to mourn: His wife, Maxine Wells Bean of Doucette, TX; one son, Theo Bean of Houston, TX; nine daughters, Linda Byerly and Angela Barlow of Doucette, TX, Rachel Mitchell of Woodville, TX, Corretta Bean of Beaumont, TX, Stacey Mitchell, Donna Bean, Daniual Smith, Claudette Bean, and Omegia Walker of Houston, TX; two brothers, Clarence Bean and James Bean of Woodville, TX; four sisters, Arie Lee Taylor and Ruth Barclay of Woodville, TX, Isabella Mason and Frances Brewer of Beaumont, TX, along with sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Theo was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Ander Bean and George Bean, and one sister, Susie Piper.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Kindred Hospice, and his nurses Candace Harmon and Mrs. Debra Tyson for the superb care they provided.
