Obituary for Curley Ray Goodman Jr.

Mr. Curley Ray Goodman Jr. was born November 12, 1956, to the late Curley Goodman Sr. and Mary Ella Goodman in Woodville, Texas. Mr. Goodman resided in Austin, Texas, under his (sister) Dr. Libby Goodman's care. He was a resident at The Windsor Nursing Rehabilitation Center of Duval in Austin, Texas.

Curley Ray displayed the spirit of happiness and peace. He always had a warm, inviting smile on his face. Curley Ray loved his music and his music boxes, by which he also enjoyed dismantling them even more. He went through at least four or five music jam boxes a year. He would take them apart and on to the next one. Curley's spirit was sweeter than grandma's apple pie because he was innocent. Despite his condition, Curley kept that beautiful small on his face.

On Friday, January 24, 2020, Death Angels whispered and said. " You've gone your last miles of the way; now it's time to have sweet peace and rest," and Curley Ray departed from this earthly life to eternal rest to rest in the mercy of God, rest in peace.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Sister, Dr. Libby Goodman; Sister, Yolanda Goodman-Cauley (Joe); Sister, Tina Cook; Sister, Sanjenette Goodman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other special friends.
