Obituary for Clifton Willard Collier
Clifton Willard Collier, 93, of Warren, TX. passed away Thursday, February 16,2023 at Hospice Harbor in Jasper, TX. Clifton was born July 15, 1929 in Hicksbaugh, Texas to the late A.Y. and Minnie Bozeman Collier.
Clif retired from the U.S. Navy in 1971, as an E8, he returned home to Warren, Texas. He worked for the Forestry Service, before going to work for Shell Oil Co. in 1977, retiring in the mid 1990’s.
Clif is survived by his daughter, Cindy and husband Terry Spivey, bonus sons Randy (Donna) Morris, and Rick Morris. Grandchildren: Chance and wife Kay Spivey, Jessica and husband Aric Crosby, and Jennifer Yager. Jamal Barton and family, and Fallon Morris and daughter. Great Grandchildren, Mika and Mizuki Spivey, Diamond and Drake Mincey, Gracie, Sebastian, Joseph and Cameron Yager, Terrence and Alexander Whitehead, Cody, Clifton Kyle, Justen Fowler. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
Clif, is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his daughter Vicky, grandsons William Spivey and Hunter Fowler, sisters Sue Collier, Jeannette Pate and Fredda “Pat” Swanson. Bonus son Larry Morris, and daughter Jan Morris.
A private memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held in the Fall.
