Carolyn Jackson, 70, of Jasper, Texas transition to Glory on Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Carolyn Jean Jackson was born on April 2,1953 in Jasper,Tx to the late Sam and Bulah Houston. Carolyn departed her earthly home to go to her heavenly home on August 12,2023 at Harbor Hospice in Houston,Tx.
At an early age Carolyn joined the Neely Grove United Methodist Church and then later The Jasper Circuit United Methodist Church where she was a faithful member for many years.
She worked at LP and Keller Aluminum. She later became a caregiver for her family and she took great pride in doing so.
Carolyn was proceeded in death by her parents Sam and Bulah Houston; husband Bobby Jackson; brothers Sammy Lee Houston, LaSalle Houston Sr. and Jimmy Houston; sister Rosa Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Bobby Houston of Beaumont,Tx; one granddaughter, Quanesha Myers of Jasper,Tx; one grandson Cail Leal of Spring, Tx; four great grandchildren King, Khaliyah, Khassidy, and Korie Moye all of Jasper, Tx; one brother Billy Houston of Jasper, Tx; four sisters Willie Hafford, Brenda (Speedy) Houston, Helen Miles and Tracey Houston all of Jasper, Tx and one sister-n-law Mary Joyce Houston. Her nephews and niece that she raised as her own Dakeylon (Bug) Verrett and Jeremy and Kerry Houston and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
