Byron Craig Young Sr., 58, of Orange, Texas passed Saturday February 9,2019.
On February 8, 1961 in Beaumont, Texas a son was born named Byron Craig Young Sr. to Edward Hawthorne and Carol Jean Wilson.
Byron later moved to Houston, Texas and accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and later joined Wesley United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas. Byron was a 1979 graduate of Jack Yates High School and was an all around athlete with football and basketball being his favorites. Byron attended the Houston Truck Driving School and became a certified commercial truck driver as he traveled state wide for many years.
Byron met and later married Loretta Marie Arthur on February 10,1997. From their union God blessed them with three children: Byron Craig Young Jr., Ashia Evelyn Young and Dashia Ramone Young and grandson Kyrie Craig Young.
He was preceded in death by brother; Michael Young, sister; Michelle Young, step mother; Clara Bernice Hawthorne and step father; Earl Young.
In addition to his wife Loretta, three children and grandson; Byron also leaves to cherish his memories his father, Edward Hawthorne (Dora) mother, Carol Everline; brothers; Earl James Young (Janet) of Alexandria, VA., Kalvin Wayne Young (Rhoda), Kevin Dwayne Young, sisters; Yolanda Renee Ambush (Charles) and Felicia Annette Young.
Byron also leaves step brothers; Earl Thomas Jr.(Debbie), Bishop Charles Thomas (Tanya), David Thomas, Pastor Anthony Thomas (Quiana), step sisters; Dora Phillips (Richard), Lisa Hunter (Demetrius) and Lyza King (Xavier) along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Service details for Mr. Byron Craig Young Sr. are Saturday, February 23, 2019 9am-11am at Six Street Community Church 1619 6th St. Orange, TX. 77630. Funeral Service begins at 11am.
