Obituary for Bobby Louise Kiel Jr.
Bobby Louis Kiel Jr., age 53, passed away on the morning of January 1, 2024 in Orange, Texas. He was the first born son of Bobby Kiel Sr. and Dora Mae Kiel. Bobby Jr. attended school in Kountze, Texas and gained much of his life experiences in Hardin County and the surrounding areas.
Early in life Bobby Jr., affectionately known as “June” to his family, spent countless summers and weekends in Springhill. He spent time enjoying the simple country life with his grandparents, Lonnie and Eliza Kiel, and his cousins. There was always plenty to do in the country. Everything from riding horses to riding motor bikes or just swimming the creek down the road. Time spent with family was good.
Bobby Jr. and his wife Ramona Barnes were blessed with three girls, Porsha, Mercedez and Donniesha. Bobby Jr. was exceptionally proud of his girls, as evident by the names he chose for them. Later in life Bobby Jr. fathered two boys, and the legacy of names continued with Diamante’ and Bentley. As years passed, life lessons brought about changes in and for Bobby Jr. He grew as a man, as a husband, as a father and as a grandfather.
Bobby Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Mae Kiel and his grandson Kaideinse. He joins his daughter, Porsha and granddaughter Ja’Niya in death. Bobby Jr. leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Ramona; his daughters Mercedez and Donniesha; his sons Diamante’ and Bentley; his father, Bobby Kiel Sr.; his brother Lonnie Deon. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his four grandchildren Jaideinse, K’Cyn, Jacilyn and Zariah. Bobby Jr. will truly be missed by his aunts, his cousins and all extended family and friends.
