Beverly Telford Thomas was born on March 1, 1947 to Oscar Sr. and Nellie Telford. She attended and graduated from Henry T. Scott High in 1966.

Beverly gave her life to Christ at a young age and joined the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor C.O. Hadnot where she served faithfully for the majority of her life.

Beverly was very athletic, friendly, and outgoing. She never met a stranger. Through the years her social qualities allowed her to make many friends and discovered many of the gifts and talents that God had given her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar Sr. and Nellie Telford, seven brothers; Oscar Telford Jr., James Telford, Robert Lee Telford, Eddie Telford, Joe Telford, Elbert Telford and Henry Telford, three sisters; Margaret Johnson, Gloria Telford and Rosalee Telford.

To cherish her memories she leave a daughter; Diane Madison (Lamond) of Huntington, TX. and a son; William Jefferson (Krystal) of Houston, TX., two grandchildren; Kennadi and Kyran Jefferson, one sister; Elizabeth Walker of Woodville, Texas, three brothers; Charles Telford, Jimmy Telford both of Woodville, Texas and Larry Telford of Houston, Texas along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

My fondest memories of Beverly Ann Thomas are her ‘quick wit’, her humility, and her contagious smile. I appreciated her loyalty to her church as she grew up, she was a soloist, a lead singer in the choir. I have the fondest memories of Beverly Ann, especially when I think of her singing some of our favorite hymns or old one hundreds.

Today I join you in sharing the most comforting memory... LOVE. Beverly's life was ‘love in action’..
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is my hope your memories will sustain you during this time.
The scripture says in John 16:22 "So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you". Keep the Faith!
