Alene McBride was born on August 2, 1963 to Jimmy Lee McBride and Darnell Spikes McBride. She was introduced to Christ at an early age. She attended Burkeville High School. She enjoyed singing, cleaning, cooking, and making up home-made games and songs. Her presence could light up any room. She departed this life on May 29, 2023. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Alene was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee McBride, brother Walter Herbert McBride, Sr., daughter; LaTonya McBride and bonus sister Ramona Perkins.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: one son D'Rodderick McBride (Tiffany) two daughters Nikita McBride and Kristen Griffin (Boderick Sr.) 10 Grandchildren: Tevin McBride Sr., La'Dhajai Middleton (Donovan), Taniah Bass, Clifton Bass Jr. (CJ), JaKayla Griffin, Kennedy Griffin, Boderick Griffin Jr. (BJ), Joshua Malik McBride, Hailee McBride and Jordyn McBride. 3 bonus grandchildren Kaylah, Detric II and Aniyah (Montgomery) 6 great-grandchildren Tevin McBride Jr. (TJ), Tiana McBride, Te'Vion McBride, Tahir McBride, Tobias McBride and Zahra Shaw. 4 brothers: Jimmie Eugene McBride, Sr. (Audrey), James McBride, Willie McBride (Lucy) and Gregory McBride (Brenda) 3 sisters: Lillian Holmes (Ben), Letha McBride and Sharon McBride. Sister-in-law Delories McBride. Bonus mother: Janice McBride, 3 bonus siblings: Rodney Johnson, Gerard Johnson, Natasha Southwell (Willard) and a host of other relatives and friends. The family is honoring Alene McBride's final wishes to be cremated.
