Albert Wise Jr was born April 12, 1938 in Deadwood, Tx to the late Albert Wise Sr and Annie Barkin-Wise. He spent much of his childhood in Deadwood, Tx, and Logansport, LA. He would then move to Tyler County in the 1950’s, and would later settle in Warren, Tx where he expanded his family. Albert was considered a ‘man’s man’ who would give you the shirt of his back, break bread with you, and help those who were in need. He was known as a man of principle, poise, and respect. He was a man of God, and would become a member of Warren Chapel. He started his career in logging in the 1950’s and continue until 1990’s

Albert was called to glory on August 30, 2019 in Woodville, Tx. He was preceded in death by Jean Hadnot-Wise (Wife), Loretta Lynn Roberson-Wise (Wife), Shirly Jean Rivers (Daughter), Glenn Wise Sr. (Son)(Felicia), Melinda Lynn Wise (Daughter), Bessie Hooper Mitchell (sister), Dessie Bender (sister) Bernice Hadnot (sister), Trinette Wise (sister), Retain Hollis (sister), L.d. Jackson (brother), Eddie Wise Sr. (brother), Billy Wise (brother), Morgan Wise (brother), Kelly Wise (brother), Howard Wise (brother)

Albert is survived by his children: Richard Wise of Warren, Tx, Albert James Wise. (Janell) of Livingston, TX, Annie Wise Clark (O’neil) of Lufkin, Tx, Toney Wise (Sarah) of Houston, Tx, Jerry Wise of Lufkin, Tx, Christopher Wise (Rachel) of Corrigan, Tx, LaTonda Wise of Sacramento, CA, LaQuanda Wise of Hudson, Tx, LaTonya Mckinney of Houston, and Jennette Wise (sister) of Woodville. He has 34 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
