Our Story

Coleman's Family Mortuary is a faith driven, family owned and independently operated company with over 40 years of serving families. We have a strong commitment to providing service to all faiths, denominations, nationalities, and cultures. Coleman's Family Mortuary was established in 2015 through the vision of Kendall R. Coleman when we acquired the building formerly known as the Red Door in Woodville, Texas. On October 4, 2016 we were granted our license to operate as a funeral home by the Texas Funeral Service Commission. On November 10, 2016 Coleman's Family Mortuary celebrated our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with family and community leaders here in Woodville, Texas. Our motto is "SERVING FAMILIES WITH THE LOVE OF GOD" because we believe during the days of losing a loved one its important to remind each family that God's love for them still remains. Our focus is on family gratification with the sincere desire to build lasting relationships for generations.

With the continued support of Kendall's wife Patience Brown-Coleman we work together to ensure that every need is met for each family we serve. We understand and are so grateful that God has trusted us with the responsibility of ensuring that we handle each family member with love and compassion. Serving Families with the Love of God is not only our motto it is also the way we raise our four beautiful children. Sons; Isaiah, Nash, and Lathan and daughter Kendallyn understand that the family's golden rule is a rule that will live for generations. Coleman's Family Mortuary is excited about every opportunity to serve and work with each family.
