Obituary for Beverly Kay Swenson

Ms. Beverly Kay Swenson 59, of Jasper, Texas was called home on February 11, 2018.

Ms. Beverly Kay Swenson was born June 9, 1958 to the union of Kenton (Rusty) Swenson and Margaret Rose Garison in Houston, Texas. Ms. Beverly was a devout Christian and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age and was a long time faithful member of Kincel Chapel of Brookland , Texas. Ms. Beverly was a graduate of Orangefield High School. She also was a proud Alumni of Lamar University where she earned a degree in nursing. Ms. Beverly loved her job taking care of people as a registered nurse. She also had a passion for singing, writing and playing the guitar and the piano. Above all of theses things she was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and most of all her grandchildren.

Ms. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Rusty Swenson and Margaret Rose Garison. One daughter; Melissa Callaway

Ms. Beverly leaves to cherish her memories: One daughter; Donna Jo Duhon (Jason), Step-Mother; who she loved as her very own mother, Carlene Swenson. Two brothers; Ken Swenson (Cheryl) and Bill Swenson (Brenda). One sister; Tessa Groom (Ray). Two son-in-laws; Richard Callaway and Keith Phillips. Four grandchildren; Megan Nichole Callaway, Nathan Tyler Callaway, Stephanie Faith Callaway, and David Allen Phillips. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
